Printer

Nico now can climb up onto the printer. He doesn't know yet how to get down on his own, but he can sure get up there quick.

Piggy Bank

Before Nico's nap we went to the park and played. Nico is getting really good at climbing things. He can climb ladders, normal ones and odd shaped ones, and he can even climb DOWN them (most of the time).

Since Nico woke early from his nap, we were able to make it to the Saturday Market before they closed up at 1:30. We went to see the fountain, there were a lot of kids playing in it today.

You can see how hard Nico played today by taking a glance at his feet in this picture. Dirty! Guy suggested we sweep the floor. Nico likes to sit on our bed and play with our piggy bank. He opens it up and dumps all the coins out, and then refills it, dumps it, refills it, etc. Sometimes he wants to play with the piggy bank during the day and he'll go into the room while Guy is sleeping. Whoops!

The Last Few Days

We've been missing in action! I've been taking pictures, but I have been completely spacing on uploading them every night. Here are some pictures from the last few days.

We've been going on a lot of walks, going to the Fish Park and today we even went for a bike ride. The weather was perfect in the evening.

One thing I've noticed that Nico does on a regular basis: whenever we receive a box in the mail that we need to open, I pull out the scissors and start to cut the box open and this is a cue for Nico to start screaming. It's a happy scream, and it's not ear-shattering or anything, but he loves to scream whenever I open up a box. After we've taken everything out of the box, I flip it over and cut the bottom open so we can dismantle it, and he screams while I do this too. Funny!

Climber and a Weekend Trip

Nico climbed up on the bottom rail of his crib today from the outside! He was trying to get his stuffed dog, which was in the crib.

This weekend Nico is having a vacation at Grandpa and Grandma Salisbury's cabin! He is going to stay there for three whole nights and it will be his very first time away from home for that long. He has everything he needs including his stuffed dog and his favorite books. I miss him, but am trying to take advantage of the extra time I will have for sleeping. Perhaps we will have a picture from Nico's weekend to share for tomorrow!
